4 Day Nova Scotia Tour

  • This tour is perfect for the traveler who wants to sample a little of everything Nova Scotia has to offer. We’ll leave Halifax bright and early and follow the lighthouse route to visit Peggy's Cove and the picturesque coastal towns of Chester, Mahone Bay, and Lunenburg, where you'll get a chance for an evening sail and a lobster boil in one of Nova Scotia's most historic villages. For the last part of your trip, we'll sweep on over to the Annapolis Valley where you'll have lunch and sample wines at the most beautiful vineyards and be able to see at least one of the tides of the Bay of Fundy.

  • Day 1 :

    Depart Halifax @ 8:45 am

    Our morning will start with a visit to Peggy's Cove, then we'll take a drive down the coast to where we're going to put you up in the historic Mecklenburgh Inn for your first night.

    Day 2:

    Depart Chester @ 11:30 am

    Then we will head into Lunenburg where you'll get to take a sunset sail, hopefully catching some wildlife too! This town is a gourmand’s delight, and we can make many great recommendations on where to eat. Take time to explore and walk to the other side of the harbour to see this town in all it's UNESCO heritage glory.

    Day 3:

    Depart Lunenburg @ 2pm

    We'll pick you up after lunch and whisk you across to the Annapolis Valley, to see the high or low tides of this magnificent one-of-a-kind body of water. You'll spend the night in the university town of Wolfville.

    Day 4:

    Depart Wolfville @ 5:30pm

    In the morning, you'll be picked up to go on a Grape Escape- where you'll visit (and sample) Nova Scotia wines, and don't worry, We'll feed you here too, so we don't have to roll you back into the van on the way back to Halifax!

  • Day 1:

    We leave Halifax at 9 am, from there we’ll travel the scenic seaside route to the famous Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse, where we’ll have a quick hour to explore and get the perfect photo before heading down to visit the Bike and Bean, they’ll get you all suited up with bikes and gear, and set you off in the right direction towards Hubbards where you’ll spend your first night.

    Day 2:

    We don’t really care what you do, as long as you eventually make your way to Chester.

    Day 3:

    You’ll probably wake up at some point and the plan will be to cycle the way to Lunenburg, if you haven’t already we might suggest that you get on the ferry and visit Tancook Island and have yourself a nice Lobster and Haddock Chowder at the Kiwi Cafe.

    Day 4:

    Wake up in the colourful UNESCO town of Lunenburg. Hopefully by this point one of the friendly Lunenburger has already told you that you should take a ride to Blue Rocks or the LaHave Bakery. We’re going to pick you up at 2 pm and head back to Halifax by way of the Annapolis Valley, where you’ll get a chance to visit the Bay of Fundy and more.

3 Day Gentle Island Getaway

Looking to go beyond Nova Scotia? Do you need a quick and easy getaway? We need one too, so come with us to Prince Edward Island.

  • Let us take you to the island so picturesque it inspired a fictional character that lives on in the hearts of people everywhere. The home of Lucy Maude Montgomery and, of course, her Anne of Green Gables. With its endless white dunes and beaches, you could walk for hours, sunsets that can melt your heart, and a rolling landscape just as riveting, you’ll be left with dreams of this place years after visiting. Farm stalls dot long country roads, coffee is roasted on-site, craft ciders, beer, wine- you name it, PEI earns its spot as a destination for interested foodies. And don’t forget the ice cream!

  • Day 1

    We’ll leave Halifax at 10 am, from there we will drive straight on through to Charlottetown with one quick pit stop along the way to let you grab some snacks, stretch those legs, and empty that bladder. We'll help get everyone settled into accommodations, and then you’ll have the rest of the day to play in Charlottetown as you’d like.

    Day 2

    We’ll depart from Charlottetown around 9am, drive through winding landscapes, up and down hills, make a quick secret stop before we land in Georgetown around 10am where we will join Tranquility Cove who will take us out on the water for a two hour fishing tour, one of the most memorable experiences for our guests, where as soon as you catch your mackerel it is tossed on to a BBQ and served right back to you. Doesn’t get much fresher than that! After this we will head to the beach, where you will get some free time to do as you please, while we get your lobster supper ready.

    Day 3

    Packed up and ready to head back to Halifax, we will check out at 9 am and head to Cavendish National Park area for a day to play on the beach, shop on the boardwalk, you’ll find amusement parks, wax museums, the fictional home of Anne of Green Gables, and so much more, it’s your choice, we’ll just get you there! Cavendish is known to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Canada, so if you want just chill in the sand, that is also an option. At 2pm, we’ll head up west, as we islanders call it, to Summerside, where I can’t let you leave without trying my absolute favourite ice cream at Holman’s before departing the island, to be back in Halifax by 6:30pm.
